Description of Scotch Move

Allows players to handle the ball closer to their center of gravity when performing a Scotch Move. This slightly facilitates transitioning into the next play and makes it a bit harder for the ball to be dispossessed. A Scotch Move is a feint where the player pulls the ball backward while dribbling and then pushes it forward (either straight ahead or diagonally forward toward their dominant foot side). Using the Scotch Move while running side-by-side with an opponent during a sprint dribble is particularly effective because it allows only your player to come to a sudden stop and change direction. However, the Scotch Move is almost never used in practice. Note that in eFootball, the Scotch Move uses the dominant foot to handle the ball, so knowing the player's dominant foot is important. Although it is technically possible to move toward the weak foot side after pulling the ball back, it results in a somewhat clunky movement, so it is not particularly recommended.
